Mass Brand for Olive Skin Launches in UK

EX1 – brand that claims to be the first mass market make-up collection in the UK that is formulated specifically for olive skin tones – just launched at Top Shop’s Oxford Circus store.

The range includes of five foundations, five mineral powder foundations, three powders, three concealers and four blushers, which have been formulated to mimic the natural yellow/golden pigments found in olive skintones. They are ideal for women with ethnic backgrounds, including Latino, Mediterranean, North African, Far Eastern, Middle Eastern and Asian.

The brand was developed in Milan, Italy by Farah Nàz, and her team of cosmetic scientists. EX1 products were formulated while considering with the different biophysical characteristics of olive skin tones.

Women with olive skin tones tend to have more oily complexions, and due to increased levels of melanin, are also much more susceptible to post inflammatory hyperpigmentation following acne or injury to skin tissue. EX1 Cosmetics are all oil-free, and both the mineral foundation and concealer contain healing ingredients.
